Hubs Page Benefits
Online blogging and article writing is what the internet is all about here online, information is the highway to all content venues, so whatever medium you write in whether it's an actual blog or a one page website a single page can drive traffic to your main websites or blogs if done right.
So this leads me to our first reason to use Hub pages, they act as sign posts, not in a spammy way, as your profile could contain your main web links and then you yourself just provide the authority content that will drive traffic to your websites eventually.
People will see your hubs and then go to your profile page the more they read your informative articles and valuable content, so making your content highly interesting to a specific niche could help you further to focus your traffic.
Also building up several sub topics around your main topic is quite useful to you too as it will distribute traffic throughout all of the related hubs as people will want to read more on your subject and plus expansion of information is good for yourself as a writer, you build up your online portfolio of written work and group them all together.
Building your expertise quite quickly here is an approach that should be reached in a long term goal, meaning you can't really build yourself up as an instant expert over night, this is long term, unless you are already established elsewhere and bring your loyal followers over here, so always try and look for other ways to showcase your expertise in the form of ebooks, compiled reports or password protected web pages.
You can promote them in a hub, but keep the links and your domains to a minimum as this could impact your hubscore, where ever possible try and spread your links one per hub and if you have a webhost account, consider a different domain name for each product you may make.
This will benefit you more, on the other hand you could have a hub page that contains information only, so there is no promotion involved really, just marketing your pages as you did previous on social networks and social book marking sites.

Hi I'm new to all this - can anyone tell me how it works and how I really get started to hubbing?
I have found hubpages to generate quality converting traffic. Iam farely new to hub soI have some questions: how much content to keepadding? Are there other pages that can added,or doesit happen automatically? What about RSS promotion?
Here's one of my new hubs:

Obviously for the dating niche, but I have others and will add still more in different niches.
Hubpages has givven me confidence in my writing - they have given me money for flagship hubs but also the comments and fans you get makes you realise you can write something better than a management report ! Hubpages has given me some insight into SEO and keyword selection and is slowly making me some pocket money. My current most successful hub is one written to try to bring the hard-core marketers and the hubpage community to a more common understanding http://hubpages.com/hub/HubPages-Internet-Marketin
Why do I write Hubs? Because, when I was in Mrs. Hall's class in fifth grade, we used to write "themes," free-form compositions that could be about whatever you felt like -- fiction, non-fiction, the fantastical and funny. then we'd get up and read them for the class. for one memorable class, my friends and i really got into it and began competing to write the most far-fetched stories. mine was about the adventures of the Pillsbury Dough Boy. the only line I remember now is the final line: "and POOF!!! -- he vanished in a cloud of yeast."
i later became a reporter and writer, then drifted into editing. but i thought of those wild "themes" from time to time and missed that writing for the sheer fun of it. It's not that I couldn't do it on my own as much as I wanted, but that's not the same as getting it published and having other people read it. Then came Hub pages. And here I am ... and having fun writing again!
I've only written two Hubs, so I'll leave it to others to address your other question.
Good topic!
Hi, Wayne!
HP has been great for my site traffic. I have had several take the tour of my business and so far one is joining my team. My best performing hub by far has been my hub directory of articles that put all of a group into one hub for easy access. Thanks for allowing us to post the links! Great hub! http://hubpages.com/hub/A-List-of-My-Business-and-
