Digital Photography: My New Hobby
63It's Easy To Take Digital Photos
Digital photography is a massive market and it has opened up a world of opportunities for the digital camera owner, even a cheap digital camera can take clear and great photos, that you can archive on your computer and print out which saves a little bit of money, but then printer cartridges are expensive, so lets say it's more convenient than taking it to your local drugs store or photo developers.
Awhile ago I bought a digital camera, but due to work commitments it stayed in the box until a rainy day or a day that I could have a complete day of taking pictures and that day arrived a few months ago ad then I forgot all about the pctures I took until it came to christmas when the camera was needed for family photos.
Some of them turned out quite well and clear too, so I thought I'd add a few here and just comment on a few of my digital photos.

Fantasy art for me is like the inspiration in drawing, without fantasy art there is no art of any kind, because I love to create drawings and other worldly creatures out of my imagination for all to see.

Great and fun photos! I too am an avid photographer and my old 'film' Nikon sits on a closet shelf. All of the attachments, lenses, are waiting for me to be able to purchase the Nikon SLR in digital. Ahhh someday.
Hi waynet:
I hope you'll discover the joy of PAINTING on your photos!
The old edit thing was to crop or "perfect" the existing image.
Just for a moment, think of your original photo as an "underpainting"...now imagine how you could transform that image into Art.
It's a very intense experience, my friend.
I do all my own photos for my hubs. Nearly every one is a photo/painting. Stop by or chat me up if you're interested.

I too love to take pictures! Thanks for sharing:)
Hi Waynet,
I am another digital photography nut, so I can really appreciate your pictures. I am just getting into playing around with my pictures on the editing software, but I wish I could afford the more expensive ones.
waynet, G'day, from OZ, it is now about midday and approaching a predicted 40degrees C (about 100 F) Just thought you might like to know as you freeze your butts off. LOL. (its not really funny , its bloody hot mate)
You have some good shots there, you have the ability to see and compose the image nicely.
You did not say what sort of camera you have, will you let us in on that?
I'm hardly comfortable sharing my photos publicly unless I've taken at least 5 of the same shot at various angles, and then cropped them in various ways, and saved them three different times. Really like the tree shot and caption, house is gorgeous and your dog is a doll.

I have only just developed an interest in photography since joining HP.
I think it is the satisfaction of your hub being all yours.
I am bookmarking this one for easy reference.
So thank you for sharing.
Take care
