Repo Men Movie Review

Repo Men, a film that was actually quite good and it raised a few questions along the way that I'll deal with later in this movie review. The violence in this movie is extreme, but it's needed for the story to progress I think, the title of the movie gives away what this is about, repossession men are part of a government organisation that sells really expensive artificial organs that people may need and when they can't afford to meet the payments on these organs, then the repo men come in to take the organs back thus killing the recipients of the organs.

The main repo men in the movie Jude Law and Forest Whittaker are best friends who happen to work as repo men and both are happily repossessing organs left right and centre until Jude Laws character is injured on the job and has to have an artificial heart implanted in his chest and this of course makes him realise what others have gone through when they can't make their payments on their expensive organs and so he goes on the run meeting a woman on the way who has many artificial implants and upgrades.

There is some cool bits of the movie were some people get shot to bits and slashed with knives and whilst the ending of the movie is predictable, the majority of the film is spent telling a good story and one that has nothing to do with Alex Cox's Repo Man from the 80's, although the premise is similar.

Like I said, the ending is predictable with a sci-fi twist that is just so convenient, because it's mentioned earlier on in the film by Forest Whittakers character and so a portion of the end final act wasn't real, but hey that's the movies for ya!

Go and watch this one, because It was actually a good one and it might make you think that this might actually happen in the future, because who knows, the way things are going now what with governments being totally stupid, then we might see people getting head and bum transplants.

y, I totally - overall movie was good right up to ending, which was real disappointment since it all seemed to be building towards something much more satisfying

I actually liked this movie...it is one I would not rent again, but it is definitely one that I will watch again on Netflix. I give it at least 3 stars too.

Definitely a 3 out of 5 stars for this movie, I would have given it 4 stars, but the ending was predictable!

Netflix only gave it one star.

How many out of five stars would you give it.

Cheers
