Zazzle Gallery Marketing Tips
75Zazzle Galleries And Using Them To Build A Business!
Building a business there are usually start up costs involved, but with the ease of the internet and the free sites and communities you can join, building an online business is fast becoming easier and with Zazzle you can start straight away.
For those who do not know, Zazzle is an online print on demand service were people order customized products and gifts that have been created by thousands if not millions of amateur and pro designers alike, the zazzle gallery owners create there images, whether that be a logo or artwork, photo or joky phrase and place it correctly on the gift items and depending on the royalty mark up you set, you get the cut and share above the minimum starting price.
This is free business building at it's very best, but along with an easy to set up online business there are a few frustrations for many as they start out their Zazzle galleries to grow a business.
Marketing an online business is one of the key areas that people get annoyed with and frustrated too, because often is the case they create excellent designs and spend all their time building their product portfolio and then no one turns up, although search engines do account for most traffic, but that traffic has to be given a helping hand!
Here is a guide for marketing your Zazzle Galleries:
As with anything the on site optimization has to be worked out first, you have to realise what your gallery is about and focus on it in terms of a targeted market, you want to try and get people to your gallery that could be searching for the designs, but that in itself is difficult for some.
Your titles and descriptions and indeed tags have to be specific for each product item so that they can be found within the search engines, a mix of long tail keywords and some low ranking keywords could be effective in this optimization strategy.
I've seen a lot of people either just write a one word title for their products and this is just not effective or they are simply not descriptive in their choice of title to be effective at an optimized plan.
In addition to your descriptive data being accurate also your products have to look quality too and that might mean changing an images size to fit a certain product that demands different sizing options.
At Zazzle they have templates and guides that you can use to find the right size that is needed for each product item, so if in doubt have a look at them.
Link building strategy
A link building strategy is not some overnight thing, rather it is an ongoing process of building relevant links that matter to the search engines, so think in terms of a little each day. Do a bit within the zazzle community honestly contributing genuine comments and link back to some of your best related products to the persons products you comment on.
Then you want to aim for relevant external links all over the internet and you do not want to be scattershot about your approach, this is an essential marketing plan and linking strategy and one that any good marketer must document and record who you link to, by targeting your zazzle galleries specific keywords first and finding other sites that hold the same or similar keywords then these are the ones that you could immerse yourself and try and contribute to with comments if they have some form of comments enabled that is.
Other linking places could be Social networking profiles, such as Myspace, Facebook, Squidoo,Hubpages,Bebo and many more, plus the blogs that are an extension of social communities can extend your reach as a zazzle gallery owner.
Classified ads such as Craigslists and many others are also a workable solution to add to your link plan, together with link directories that are relevant.
As other online businesses incorporate email marketing so should you to, by including an email sign up form to update your blogs readers or website visitors, give them a reason to come back to your gallery with new products created on display.
A Blog Is A Good Way To Tie In To Your Zazzle Gallery Business
Blogs keep people updated, your fanclub, your contacts and any current or previous customers might just see what you will come up with next and your blog is the place to do it.
Try and write more in depth about each design and what it took to get it to the superb piece of art it is now, try and be more specific than the actual descriptions on your zazzle product data, the more detail and the more background behind your art, designs or photos the better you will inform and truly describe your product further to those who are interested.
Show larger pictures on your blog, people want to see a clear image, this is possible with the link feature that anyone with a zazzle gallery can access under their own product, aswell as share individual products all over the internet, just try and understand where you can place and embed your product code and go through a list of the places you should be linking your products and do it often.
Commenting on related blogs could be an option too, but always go for the blogs that make it easier for you to comment on and genuinely interact with others designs and just generally comment responsibly and respect others galleries.
I find that networking with other Zazzle gallery owners you get a feel for how they do things and you may find out something new that you did not know, such as how they promote their stuff might give you some new ideas or design techniques they might be willing to share.
That's the power of blogging, the power to communicate and learn aswell as share your knowledge too.

Do You Zazzle?Loading...
Zazzle does take some time to work and build your customers, but it is worth it. My advice is to see what is popular, and also to high quality artwork. Thins that are no brainer stuff is holiday items. Christmas, thnaksgiving, St Paddys Day.
The best thing about zazzle is there is no cost to the shop owners. It will take soem time and effort creating products and marketing them online, but your store front is open 24/7, you dont have to manage inventory, drive to your shop in bad weather or answer phones.
You can also promote your Zazzle store and products with a free listings at http://SpeakShirt.com - exclusively for Zazzle Sellers.
I am sure you will make sales on Zazzle very soon. Also, maybe doing a Squidoo lense each week on your new products might help. Just some thoughts.
These are some really good Zazzle tips and even though I have made a few Zazzle sales, I must say I am just not as good at it as some. I will try to revamp my zazzle per your suggestions of tags because maybe that is something I have overlooked. One thing I like about my zazzle profile though is how it is now giving me a backlink to my hubs.
That's useful info wayne thanks
Yes I do Zazzle. I've been on there about a month now and had one sale and 2 best of the day awards.
It's a full time job trying to get noticed amongst the millions of other stores, you really have to work at it.

Found this hub really useful, especially the part about commenting on others products and leaving a link.
