Papermate Mechanical Pencils

Papermate has been manufacturing cheap biro pens for years and have become associated with affordable ball point pens ideal for writing and so when they released the mechanical pencil range also at a budget price I bought up a load to sketch and draw with and have found them to be my most used pencils to date. As with any mechanical pencil they come with plenty of lead within each pencil and you can buy extra lead refills for your pencils when you need to.

The very idea of drawing with a mechanical pencil is simple, they provide you with the opportunity to get rid of normal sketching pencils altogether that rely on you having to use a pencil sharpener to keep the point of your pencils sharp. Sometimes I've found some pencil sharpeners break the lead in the pencils when you try and sharpen your pencils and that was a frustrating annoyance.

A mechanical pencil always has a fine point for some technical drawing and together with rulers and other stencils you can create the most intricate artwork such as detailed drawing specifications and designs.

In the following photo guide I sketched out a quick concept of a Demons head with a Papermate mechanical pencil just to show you the results of it. And to see how easy it is and you can throw that pencil sharpener out of the window as you don't need one, just plenty of lead refills.
