Making Money Drawing
Make money drawing sounds great doesn't it? but can you make money drawing or is it another dead end in the chase for money making schemes on the Internet?
Well you can, but it does take some hard work and I mean hard work, if you do some research into the area of making money online in particular you can get swamped with hyped up make money now and immediately type propositions that seem to good to be true and they are, but making money through drawing can be quite profitable if you are an artist of many things, you can turn your hand to anything creative that comes out as a good design.
There are programs online that you can get paid to draw or upload files that will get formatted to appear on a range of merchandise likeZazzle - a print on demand siteand many others like cafepress, but these are not controlled by you directly, so in collaboration with these shared sites, it is best to have your own space in which to promote yourself and create anything that shows off your specialized artwork to it's best potential.
A blog or a website is a good idea and you can sell your art directly from there, if you wish, Paypal has a good range of payment buttons that you can add to your site if you know where to put them in your sites code, also with Paypal you can learn to integrate the payment process as part of your site which makes for a more established customer paying experience.
The options available to you when selling your own artwork are many and you could opt for one main option or you could do a combination of them, such as eBay selling, your website and even the other print on demand sites out there like Cafepress.
The main idea to make money with your own art and drawing is to find out what you are good at and design your art so that it will be interesting to a target market that you know will buy and once you've captured a good portion of one market you move on to another that you can create lots of designs for and do the same there, so it is a good thing to try and learn to draw other things out of your comfort zone, so as to appeal to new customers as your portfolio of work grows.
One thing that many artist designers do and you may even be not very good at drawing but you can still do it and that is getting royalty free images from some Royalty free websites and these are images or designs that others have done and they are allowed to charge a small download fee, for you to take the images off and use for things like print on demand sites and selling them, although you do have to check the small print with some royalty free photo sites, to make sure this is allowed.
Two of the best Royalty Free image websites:-
Royalty Free Images at Shutter Stock
Make money drawing by building up a series of online places where you show your work and also an offline portfolio too of good quality artwork that you can present to potential customers as there will be people who will be interested in your art, whatever stuff you create.
So what are you doing reading this, go and make yourself a plan of action as artists all around the world are doing that now and are carving out extra income for themselves through their unique art that people see and want to buy, good luck making money from drawing!

Another great hub. I'm now a fellow Zazzler (as MadDogDesigns), and am thinking of building a website to promote my art/books. Do you have any tips on decent web building packages out there?
Have bumped this hub up and am bookmarking it.

I draw and paint sometimes and want to turn it into a profession. I like that part about using Paypal and finding one market at a time. Great ideas!
