Link Building Methods
First there are many ways you can build your backlinks online and you need to be aware of these, first though, it's best to see what linking strategy you are going to specialise in.
Are you a social networker?
Social networks can build up an online reputation and one that can be targeted towards what you want, the niche market that you define is were you start, nearly all social networks have a blogging platform, but even if they don't for whatever reason the profile page will do.
And it is with a profile page that you can do some good link efforts aswell as using the blog too, just try to make sure that they are dofollow links that you are going to get, you can check this by viewing the source code, which is usually done by right clicking and selecting view source and simply looking for links that say dofollow in them.
if your blog or social networking profile page supports html code, then a basic text link will look like this:
<a href="http://www.yourwebsite.com">Any text here!!</a>
Remembering in the text part to add solid keywords targeted to your subjects main content, also next to the link you may add a small description, this should be different in every seperate link you place and so should your anchor text in your links.
Now another important thing to take note of is that any images on your website or blog can be indexed too in the search engines and any videos that you create can also be linked back to it's original source or one you link to.
Images in code format have an "alt tag" were you can add a small keyword description which would of course be your main keyword or keyword phrase.
Link Directories In The Right Categories
Placing your links in link directories can also improve your traffic, but you need to place them in the correct sub categories and you will need to add your links to more than a couple, maybe do a search to see what the PR ( page rank) of the link directories are, so that the higher they are ranked the chances of adding further value to your links may be increased, although don't rely on this as other methods should be combined with the link submission method.
There are many free link directories out there, as it's best not to pay any money for ad placement until you are confident in getting the right results from paid classified ads.
Article Marketing - Recommended Method!
One of the best forms of traffic building and link building is writing an article that relates to your sites content and then linking it back, do a search for article directories and submit your best articles to the best article directories ( usually the top results in google!)
The long term benefits of article submissions is greatly increased if you research your chosen keywords and include them in your articles title and article body.
Of course there are other methods, that I will ellaborate on!

That is one way of doing things, building many web pages and building your own links, just paying for it just seems a waste of money for me.
I know full well that building lots of free one way links is far easier and more rewarding than paying for them, just think of all that planning and work you put in yourself to build your backlinks.

we.ve got two choises in linkbuilding , paid ones and free linkbuilding which is of course labor-intensive ...
let just say, we prefer free linkbuilding ...
there are two easy ways of free linkbuilding, number one submit to bookmarks/directories and posting comment in dofollow blog ...
number two we create hundreds or maybe thousands or millions of blog/website, imagine you create dofollow,oneway,millions of backlink to your page ... imagine it , MAYBE WE GOT PAGERANK 9, YEAH! please answer me , discuss it with me ... :) send me email avatarlagi@gmail.com

It's easiest, but is it more effective than free linking methods?, I have my doubts, if you can afford to buy text links then yes you could buy multiple text links on multiple sites which will be quite effective, but sticking with the free methods of link building could be more effective even though it requires more effort.
easiest link building method is buying text link ad ... It cost us some money but it is easiest that save our time and energy ...:)

As to your hyperlink creator, they are doing lots of stuff now to make things much easier, I was thinking about creating an online autopilot robot that would market everything that I ever would like to promote, so I could just have a rest, but no, I know what a circuit board looks like, but that's about it!!
Good information. Also, there's a free tool called Hyperlink Creator that I have on my desktop where you just type in your url and the text you want hyperlinked and click Build Link and it creates the code for you (kind of like how ClickBank does the code for you).

The advantage of backlinks is this, they are like little sign posts towards your hub pages or websites and the more relevant backlinks you have such as comments on blogs and links on other websites and social networking sites you are more likely to get more traffic.
