Good Blog Writing Suggestions

Writing a blog is not that difficult, but to some it is, but there are ways to overcome the blog writers block that many new bloggers face after a short amount of time and like many things in life, planning goes along way to achieve the status of a good blog.

First of all your blogs topic can be taken in different directions through sub topics and these will form the larger part of your overall niche and then these sub topics are then split up into more topics that reach more people as a result of a few important factors like keyword research and good quality and accurate information.

Also the style of your blogging approach can give something new and fresh to your blogging by helping your mind adapt to new challenges or at least it should do anyway, some weeks or days you could plan a video blog post that will give some personal insight into your topic and get your readers to connect with you even more, or you could write a conversational post on your topic leaving enough room to let your blog readers comment with their own opinions on the topic.

However there are many different ways you can approach blogging and these ways will make your blog become better by providing good content all presented in many ways that should break up the boredom for your readers who just get used to reading words most days.

Good blog writing all comes down to the way you tackle a blog post, because every bit of content that you write should be presented in different formats to add a sense of scale to your blog as a whole.

A good personal blogging style plays a part in blogging and one that doesn't usually happen overnight, it is an evolution in anyone's own blogging style that you get better at it as time goes on, for me I just wrote lots of notepad scribblings and then from there just started to blog to get a feel for it, although now I wouldn't say I am an expert, but I do get traffic and sales through my blogs.

One of the best ways you can get a good blog up and running is to not think about money at the early stages, but rather the content and how you create it, try to think how you will provide useful information and stuff that isn't readily available elsewhere, which is difficult now a days, but it is possible, you just have to keep on updating your blog with new content, so that it will get indexed in the search engines, because remember there are lots of other bloggers out there and some are lazy, whereas others are daily regular bloggers, so getting seen is about putting the effort in.

As I said at the start, planning is your asset, your number one tool that a select few million can't be bothered with, so use this to your advantage and start to plan your blog posts ahead, most blogging platforms have a scheduled posts feature which is great for many reasons, say if you are on holiday and you want it to appear like you are not, then you schedule your posts to go out on dates you specify.

The best thing about research and planning is that you can come up with more ideas when you are in that mindset of a planned way of working than you do if you don't plan, planning seems to have a knock on effect for new content, the more you plan, the more you are able to come up with new blog content.

Personal opinions and reviews

This is my favourite type of blog post, because I can review a related product and really give my opinion about that product and these are the best formats for blog posts that are geared up for good recommendations to make people buy an affiliate product or a product of your own.

These become quite easy to write as you can just relay your thoughts to a specific product without doing any written notes beforehand, it's like it just downloads out of your brain, so I'd recommend you do a couple of these types of posts a week, to get your personality across to your present and future readers.

Industry news

This is also a good one, especially if you are already into the industry of whatever you write about, industry news can be specific and detailed product information or just news in general that will be of use to people in your niche, you see this all the time on other blogs as there are always events going on, conventions, conferences and other public meetings for almost any hobbies or business related gatherings.

It is best to write about these when they are about to happen and also after they have happened, especially if you attended and you have video or photos to put in your blog posts, people like to know about industry news and events they would like to attend either now or in the future, if they know about them from your blog, then that is great for your blog and your reputation.

How to's

When I search online, I always search with that "How to" at the front of my search query, because like me there are also people out there looking to find out how you do certain things and they need to learn how to do something for fun, for business or their hobby, so blog about the things that people need to find out how to do, find the questions that your target market are asking in related forums and blogs, just do your research and you'll find that there are numerous things that people need to know how to do.

You could do these posts in the form of video, written words and pictures or a mix of all and it is more effective if you do a very detailed how to rather than a fly by hit and miss affair.

Cheers Robert And Deltachord!

Writing good blogs, simply comes down to writing for yourself and the reader who will read your blog, the more problems and answers to questions that the readers have you address then the better your blog will do in the long run.

This is excellent.

My most long-running blog is a personal diary blog, it's just my life and what I'm doing at the time. It turned into a daily art blog because I was doing daily art. Now I've decided to do something toward selling my books every day as a top priority so writing topic blog entries will be more common -- but I'll still post all my art on my blog even if I'm not always doing daily art any more.

You have given me a couple of brilliant ideas to improve the visibility of my blog and get readers on my writing topics. The art entries got me lots of readers. I do how-to and links sometimes on art entries. But as the 3 Day Novel rolls nearer and the annual writing blast at Nanowrimo rolls nearer, I could write about these events, write reviews of writing books and tools, do "writing related" topics and how-to in between the art topics and how-to.

That'd let me balance my two readerships. My friends who follow it because they know me will anyway. It's getting readers among people I don't know that would rock.
