Draw A Zombie Santa Claus Drawing Tutorial
How to draw a zombie Santa Claus, because I can and I thought it would be fun as Santa is always depicted as a chubby saint who delivers presents to young children and looks happy and jolly, ho ho ho! So drawing him as an evil zombie might present a good contrast to this much loved imaginary character.
When starting to draw a zombie Santa, you do need to check whether you know a little bit about what the real Santa wears, it's a simple case of either taking notice of Santa at your local shopping mall or you might already know the rough design of Santa's costume anyway, so maybe I'm thinking it's more complicated his costume than it actually is, so let's take a quick look at the costume of Santa.....
As you can see above with the classic Santa costume, he looks really happy and jolly and the red color of the costume screams at you as does the fluffy white parts on the costume.....take note of the costume, so long as you get some of the main design elements in the drawing it doesn't really matter.
Now on to drawing a zombie Santa clause, below I have a 3 step drawing process in the form of a slide-show and the first sketch is the usual beginning sketch that is just a simple figure with simple form and structure as I wanted to not really add loads of shapes to define the muscles or anything as I wanted to capture a real Santa figure that would look like they were wearing a Santa costume and not some super muscle powered zombie Santa.
Notice on the first sketch that I have put the zombie left arm up like he's holding something and that will be an important part of the drawing as will hopefully add some emphasis on the Zombie nature of this Santa Zombie.
The second sketch was quicker than I thought as I took the original and quite basic sketch and placed it on my light box so that I could capture the essence of that basic sketch but also add more in the way of detail or more form definition and it worked and turned out quite well, so well in fact that I could ink it the next stage and add the deeper details on the costume like the blood drips
The inking stage was fairly straight forward as all I did was to think while I inked and just had that thought in the back of my mind to make the zombie Santa appear mindless and sinister all in one.
So there you have it, a zombie Santa Clause for Christmas.

Zombie Santa Claus is a very interesting idea to draw. Never even thought about it.
Hey Wayne, a Zombie Santa Clause. LOL! I certainly wouldn't have thought about something like that, but your drawing came really good. Keep up the great work! :)
Never thought of drawing a Zombie Santa Claus - but now I cannot get the thought out of my head. Sarcastic thanks for that one.
It must be watching Hull stumbling around the football field that inspired that.. lol
Lol! yeah the list goes on.
Haha I just thought of a zombie leprechaun, I think that would also be good, I may go and draw one now lol
Hehe nice one :) I like that pic, especially how you've made his face gaunt and his eyes sinister looking, nice job
A zombie Santa? Very unusual.......hmmmm. I like the special effects of the bloody arm hanging out on Santa's sack. You're too funny, Wayne.
