How To Create An Email Address

By

Creating An Email Address Is Easy

Whilst finding this by doing some research, I've found out that there are many newcomers arriving online who do not know how to create an email address, so what luck, here I will go through the easy steps of creating an email address and it's pretty straight forward for any email service and there are many online nowadays.

Mail2world is going to be our example of setting up and creating an email address and it is the most easiest thing you can ever do, first you need to sign up for a mail2world account like anything online and follow some basic instructions to obtain some free email addresses.

So locate the Sign Up Now link and click it, you will be taken to a screen which will ask for your details, such as login name, password and your real name aswell as other usual details which are all starred with a red star meaning that they are required for the form to be processed.

Once this has all been filled in, taking care to create a good strong password and username that you will use to log back into your email account, click the next button or whatever the last button says and you will come to step 2 of your email address registration and what ever you put as your full real name will appear for example - you @ mail2world and the you part you can name it anything that you like, giving it the uniqueness that everyone will come to know and love you by being part of your everyday email communications.

Also you are given the option to add a domain after the @ symbol which can be quite categorized and make your email address more authentic, select from some of these categories:

  • First names
  • Cool and fun
  • Interests
  • Professions
  • Masculine
  • Feminine
  • Kids
  • Places
  • Miscellaneous

Once done here, click Finish Registration if you are happy with your email address, there's no need to pay on step 3 as this is a free service and you shouldn't have to pay for a regular email address, unless you want extras if you own a limited company or growing business and need to use the advanced features.

Of course this is just one example of an email service provider and whatever Internet service provider you are paying to use the internet they should have their own email service to use and all are pretty straight forward to create an email address of your choice.

One of the best things about mail2world is the choice of domains you can get and the professions category is a good thing to use especially if you are starting a business and need a few free email accounts to use for the first beginnings of communication between new clients.

Email address is your web identity. Email address registration comes with simple steps. But though it is your identity be aware that it reflects your personality. make it simple to remember. Provide password which completes the data validation. Thanks for this informative post.

I like mail2world for it's simplistic service for free email addresses and with this simplistic email article I wanted to make it accessible to all who read it!

I agree that this is a great post. Often times, I think people just default to using Google...which is fine, but sometimes it's nice to have a personalized domain ending. This is a good set of instructions and a great write-up for someone seeking help on creating their own e-mail address.

Thanks for sharing!

Cheers Diversely Obscure!

Sarcasm aside, people are new to the internet and it is a top search phrase "how to create an email address" and that's what I wanted to aim at, a page that just explains quickly how to do just that and then I move on to another hubpage, and a another and another and another.

As backward as some people may be, it is the year 2010(!), isn't it? Wow! I'm impressed! I never knew there could be a caveman-like debacle which involved people coming through a mysterious mirage of illusive ignoramuses to seek knowledge about a well established thing such as an e-mail address...? Holy Moses! I'm either lost or way too advanced for my time frame of existence?

Good job, waynet!

That was...interesting, to say the least.

I never knew there was a such thing as this 'e-mail type dilemma' or not knowing of an easy-to-find service provider that provides one, ha! It was such an enigmatic piece of wisdom that you provided to the public? Good job and keep up the good work!

Thanks Ethel, Robert an Nancy!

I think that email communication has become easier with new services popping up all the time with many free features that work well for anyone who goes online either for fun or in a business capacity.

I would like to go through some of the most important features of an email service provider too in a future hubpage.

Excellent hub on creating email addresses...I learned a few things I wasn't aware of too...Thanks for the info!

robertsloan2 2 years ago

Interesting. I didn't realize you could set it up with your own domain choice without registering the domain first -- very cool. I'm too used to my gmail to want to add another one though.
