Essential Manga Art Illustration Equipment

It is widely thought that any art equipment can do the trick for certain things and that is nearly true, but it seems now there are specialized equipment for specialized illustrative styles and Manga art is no exception.

The highly popular Japanese comic book art form is one that requires special treatments with proper art equipment, even more so now we are in the digital age and computer software comes in handy for computer colouring and nice layered effects on our hand drawn comic books art.

And there are some good quality ranges of manga art pens available, some are fairly cheap and not really the top brand names, but still are effective at creating some top notch manga art.

The top brand names for manga art are the Pigma Sensei range, although I did a search on Amazon for them they did not turn up, but other good manga art pens to be on the look out for are the Shojo manga drawing art set to your right, these are great and very sharp colours for your stylized manga art.

 I look to the manga books that are very frequent on Amazon, there are lots of them available here and usually on different manga drawing sections, such as drawing manga women and mecha warriors.

These books feature manga drawing tutorials and step by step how to's of manga art characters that feature heavily in the manga world. There are good resources to be had within the pages of these books.

 Something that I have been interested in the past year is starting my own manga comic book and the software to do it is the Manga studio debut, I bought the old version which is manga studio debut 3 a few years ago for my Windows computer and I had not enough memory on that PC to install it, but now I have several computers so I can share out the software on a few computer systems.

This manga comic software has all of the effects for creating classic manga styled comic books and it is certainly one that any manga artist needs in this digital age of computer manipulation, you can scan comic book pages into your computer and improve on them from within the program.

I can't wait to find a quiet time to have a go with this software and create some wonderful manga art and a short story to test the manga studio software.
