While you can do better with a redirected domain name in offline promotions, there still is scope for online promotions too, as you can still build up traffic to and through a domain URL redirect if you build up a network that brings in more traffic for your website or single web page and this can be one of the best ways, by people who know what you do already and have trust in what you promote.

So to finish off, hiding a domain name that looks long and has too many odd looking symbols that may throw web visitors off is the way to go, as you want to build an online presence that says professional rather than amateur.
