63Printing Paper For Drawing
Printing paper is a cheap resource for drawing, I buy it a lot when I want a couple of hundred sheets to work on without having to start a new sketch pad which may have only 100 page sheets, mainly because I draw comic book stuff, so I like to have a good few sheets of paper to sketch out ideas on.
Printing paper is ideal to use, but also if you do use your printer, it is best to buy in extra for that too, use the printing paper for what it was intended for, but also as loose sketch paper for drawing notes and other sketch ideas. You will find that office printing paper is very cheap and you can buy a few packs of 200 hundred or more and they should last you a few weeks, but if your are anything like me they will be used within a week and a half.
I do recommend sketching stuff out on printing paper as they really are the type of paper that is almost scrap, but good enough quality to get some drawing notes and inspirations down on the printing papers.

I don't use printing paper because I became concerned about archival quality. If I wanted the art to last, though, there is an option even if it's a little more expensive. There's archival printer paper, all-rag and acid free. If you go up a notch in quality you still get it by the ream and it's still that lightweight and handy.

I used to be concerned but now I archive my good quality drawings on my computer or on a flash drive to save space...cheers Robert!
