Bollocks To The Meaning Of Easter Just Give Me Lots Of Easter Eggs And Chocolate

 Easter, that time of the year that Jesus intended us to eat as much chocolate as humanly possible, eat lots of chocolate in the name of Jesus and all those excuses to eat pounds of chocolate.

I have become rather uninterested of the true meaning of things like Christmas and Easter as we have become a worldwide nation of slaves to old traditions that don't really matter anymore. Most of the time at easter, all we are concerned about is getting a fat easter egg to eat to ourselves or try to horde as many eggs as we can to fill our bellies and this to me has become more important than any true meaning of the "Christ has risen" vibe.

History is important, but we have to be careful that history does not get mixed in with stories that may or may not be true and when Christ rose from the dead I bet he ate all the easter eggs he could handle and because he was a fine up standing magician of the era he would have cheated and broken his eggs into thousands of other easter eggs and horded the eggs for years to come.

Can't you tell I am ignorant of the true meaning of Easter, It's just that I find eating chocolate eggs far more appealing than if Jesus was an easter egg himself and he was risen from the dead by the grand egg master in the sky.
