How To Become A Millionaire

Become A Millionaire
How to become a millionaire with an idea, all it takes is one idea that can be mapped out and done one step at a time, writing hubpages won't necessarily make you a millionaire, but it could be a stepping stone in the right direction, as writing content in particular about what you know can be big business.
Sometimes the road is a journey that we all must take and when opportunities arise, it's about taking them to see where they lead. Of course there are elements of risk at work when you go down the path you choose, but hey that's life!. Instead it's about knowing you can make mistakes along the way that you will learn from to build your business stronger.
Becoming a millionaire takes time, commitment and energy to make it work and the idea of an over night financial success is bollocks. You must rise above what others are doing or say they are doing and strive for your own thing, built on the foundation of studying how others created their success. I happen to think that becoming a millionaire is down to luck and the right positioning of you as the front runner of your empire.
What other traits are there for a successful millionaire?
- Motivated
- Determined
- Willingness to learn
- Good networker
- Confident
- Approachable
- Trustable
- Reliable
Of course there could be more, but you get the idea, to be a millionaire I suppose it requires a complete new mindset, one that will have to be rebuilt after you've had enough of your current life. Maybe you had a lesson in life which made you stop and think, Why am I here? I've had several moments like that, losing a job, working a dead end job that only exists to bring you down are two great examples I can think of from my own life. Why settle for the way things are when you can be so much more.
People reading this will be going, well, where is my blueprint for becoming a millionaire? The simple answer to this is that I have a hope and a couple of hundred ideas to work on and work through and that's all you need. Of course you will need other things later on down the line, such as financial backing or capital in the bank to feed your multimillion business idea, but to start off small is a more noble approach and one that hopefully you will learn from at an early stage.
Like many, I've often dreamt of being a millionaire, obviously not in this country. I live in the UK and I can not think of anything worse than having and owning a millionaires business here with all the tax that the government will leach off my business, why should I stay here and let that happen? The thing is, having a comfortable business would be ideal and if it was under the radar of the UK income tax limit of 100 o 150 thousand annually, then yeah I would stay, but there are better places to live in the world.
A millionaire could be defined by their flash cars, huge mansions or their bulging wallets, but the fact of the matter is, they own those things as a constant reminder of where they came from in the beginning and also so they can try and earn more money the next year to help pay for it all, because the bills will get bigger the more you earn. Me I will just be happy with a nice house with comfortable living and enough savings to do whatever the hell I wanted until I died, it's that simple, of course I would want my kids to be financially stable too as they get older.
The options that exist for potential millionaires now are almost infinite, especially the online opportunities, if you can commit the time and effort and a little under a hundred dollars to set up a website or blog that you know you are gong to focus on for the next 10 years at least, then you are all set to go and then take things with a pinch of salt when it comes to learning on the Internet in the areas of online marketing and SEO as there will be people who are learning and then decide they are experts, which they may be, but then there are those who believe they are experts instantly over night and will ask you to pay for something that is total shit, only to cash up yours and other peoples money each week into their bank accounts.
I myself have been online for 5 years and that's it, I've learned a lot about online marketing, blogging, search engine optimization, but what you may have to understand is that all that could change in another 5 years down the line, as new technology may replace existing search engine algorithms and new sites may emerge while some of the ones that are past it die a horrible death in the ever growing swamp that is the Internet.
So there is a constant learning strategy that you must adopt early on and your learning continues forever for the life of your internet business. So I'm no expert, but what I do know is that to become a millionaire is possible as I've seen it in my dreams often enough.
Go and make a million!
Become A Millionaire, But First Make A PlanLoading...
Waynet - a great hub on this topic. Hey, and only one frustrated commentator along the way.. keep up the great work and you'll be hitting that $200,000 per year mark pretty soon ..
Very interesting hub.
Thanks for the insights.
Very interesting topic and the most difficult thing to achieve. Anyway, let's just keep on doing what we do to make a living, more patience, more determination, more sacrifices, more confidence, more prayers, more courage, more readings and all that we could think of. Who knows, one day, we can see ourselves counting our first millions.
what the #$#$ is this, how can you be a millionare by doing these, the time and luck decides it.
I'd say a 100 year plan would only be productive IF it were also a flexible, changing one. Times change, culture changes, products change, money valuations change, world trading partners change, marketing and technology change...
The plan would have to be as adaptable as the business.
Great hub that should help towards the first million, which I'm told is the hardest one to make! VAT is crippling in this country, having had the experience of building up a successful business from scratch, once you get to that taxation point, it's a vast amount of tax to pay quarterly 17.5% of turnover, especially as it's based on 'turnover', not profit, it instantly makes 'profit' further away.
I have known many millionaires, and in my experience they tend to be very very tight/mean with money, greedy with what they charge for things (especially landlords or employers), late to pay their own bills and ruthless when it comes to others who owe them money. I reckon this is the recipe for becoming a millionaire, but at the same time a recipe for being unlikeable and unpopular. I would rather stay poor than be one of those kinds of people, so prefer the idea of becoming a millionaire by sheer hard work or not at all!
Well done on a great hub Waynet.
Very informative article Waynet; your reply of “the Japanese that are supposed to have full marketing plans for any business for at least 100 years,” is probably more accurate then you think. After all, they practically own us via loans to our government… :o(
You touched on one very important thing; 5 years from now it could all change. The technology, the mode of delivery, everything. It's important to keep in mind that actually everything is like that. The way business was conducted 20 years ago and the products that were relevant then are probably very different than now, and were very different from 20 years before that. I would suspect 20 years from now that would be the case as well...
So any successful business has to know how to adapt and change.
Now I'm off to get back to work on my first million. I've only got $999,999 to go. Wish me luck. :)
Great Hub! This one's going in my favorites! (There are good personal guidelines in here too.)
And yer personal butler called Tatguy ; )
Yeah it wud deff be nice to be a millionaire, all those sunny beaches, hot lil redheads in skimpy bikinis, nice cool beer, sun on my face, nooo cut the sun on my face as I can't see the lil redheads, ok that's better.
Oh well, I ain't and I blame you for buildin my hopes up, nice hub Wayne ; )
I just wrote a very similar hub on how it takes time to build an online business...even the millionaires of today took years to get there. I believe you can make whatever amount you want if you work hard at it and never give up!
Brilliant work as ever :)
I'll be paying attention. I don't need a million but I'll take a decent living wage from the comforts of home. Great Hub.
I bet I could be a millionaire if I stopped paying for my overpriced health insurance or if I didn't have kids. Well I am trying affiliate marketing and blogging about things I like. I seem to make a little more each year so we will see how it goes.
Ah yes....Things will change. That's for sure. Excellent topic for a hub. And your keyword research was right on. You will rank on the first or second page soon.
Just gotta get by the ezine, ehow and youtube submissions. We all have to adapt and stay on our toes about emerging techniques.

Even if I manage to make $80,000 a year that'll be good!
Nearly there!
